WARNING: Currently, no software is able to successfully mux video and audio to AVI in Windows Vista. Hence though the encode takes place fine, the final Muxed result will be corrupted. Its is highly recommended that you use only MP4 in Windows Vista.

Some say that it is because Vista doesn't write muxed AVI's correctly. One has to wait until Microsoft fixes it..

Advanced uses who prefer to keep this can also instruct the GUI not to delete it, by deleting the "DeleteTemp" file (no extension) in the original installed folder. The reverse can be applied to delete it.

No. You'll have to register to post. But, if you don't want to register, just post it over here. The only thing is I check check out CHIP forum only about once or twice in a week while I check out Doom9's forum almost everyday or even twice a day. :)

Just don't worry about it. Post them here.

Let me tell you about some bugs i encounterd,

Rest than that everything works like a charm. BTW how did you do all this, i mean it needs a lotta pateience and knowledge, just curious.

I don't understand. I don't have a built in updater yet. What exactly do you mean the updater crashes.
vipinpanik wrote:- lowpriority mode X

I'm sorry but, I think they work really fine. I think no one has got any problems about the above. Anyway, Could you please be specific about the problems you encountered? Thanks.

Thanks.:) And for the asking. Just some intense interest in encoding. Needed a tool with both advanced options and simplicity for a long time. But couldn't find one. So I decided to go for it myself. Actually, I finished off the whole stuff in about 2 weeks. I have just finished my 12th Exams and a few entrance exams to colleges. So the past two-three weeks were programming weeks. :D

Hey sorry for being a bit careless, actually i didn't see on doom9 that the update need to be replaced by the older exe.

The low priority for some reason didn't work man, but now its working [confused]

the progress bar works but seems to stuck at 0%during the 1st and 2nd pass
then suddenly it fills up quickly to a point63%, should it have been a little smoother like others.

If you can fix that your softy will be a hot hit. Upload it to sofepedia or other sites.

It was not working correctly in the unupdated version. This is one of the fixes in the update.

About the progress bar. It only happens when you encode very short clips(Less than 5 mins). For example when you encode a movie or a larger clip for instance, a 30min clip th eprogress bar should be smooth just as other programs.

Anyway I'm working on it. Thanks, but since it not critical, I won't be working on it for sometime, right now.

The output depends on the settings of XviD. I have optimal settings by default. Soon there will be Presets for different types. Also, if you compared the output with someother automated program (AutoGK, for instance) Please do mention the program you used.
