is "AMD Athlon IIX2 240" is supported by ASUS M3A????

which one is good "AMD Athlon IIX2 240" or "AMD Athlon X2 7750"
could any one give me a comparison please???

yes, M3A supports X2 240

Athlon II 240

AM3 Proc (not sure , but the board will support both AM2 and AM3 )

2.7GHZ Dual Core

AM2 Proc
3MB Cache

Winner : AMD Athlon II 240

The 7750 has 2mb of L3 cache & 1mb of L2 cache.

You could get an 7850BE or 7750BE which OC to 3~3.2Ghz on the fly.

But at stock, Athlon II would be better.

Athlon X2 7750 is based on architecture of Phenom processors.
Atholn II X2 240 based on architecture of Phenom II processors.
Athlon II X2 240 will be a better.

I would say get the Athlon II 240.
Now I Am Running HELL...HEAVEN wont be the SAME....

yes it does support , my friend uses that combo (asked him again to confirm, might need a BIOS update sometime )

Wprime test showed only a 1.3 sec difference between a 7750 @ 2.7ghz & Athlon 250 @3.0ghz.
